Coming straight out of Rick Hendrick's private car collection, this 1969 Camaro has been certified by Jerry MacNeish as the being a factory built Z/28, and it still has many of its key original drivetrain components. Featuring its original DZ302 V8 with 290hp and the original Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission, this Camaro checks all the right boxes in terms of options and originality. At some point in its life, the car was fitted with upgraded JL8 rear disc brakes and corresponding 12-bolt housing, and although not original to the car, cars with this package are extremely rare. This Z/28 also has posi-traction rear axle with 4.10 gears.

The exterior of the car matches the certified original trim tag, which decodes as Cortez Silver. The trim tag also lists the interior as being black standard, which Jerry MacNeish believes is original. It also has power steering, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM radio, special ducted hood. This Z/28 Camaro is a combination of extremely original components with a few upgrades mixed in. This car is currently owned by Rick Hendrick, was previously owned by Reggie Jackson and comes with the Jerry MacNeish Report.
