American automakers have typically placed their convertible models in the most upmarket series. Buick is a notable exception, offering convertibles in all series from 1951 to 1957. Buick’s 1956 models offered the division’s most powerful engines yet, led by the mighty Roadmaster with its 255 horsepower. Styling throughout the line enjoyed minor changes, including fully cut-out rear wheels recalling the 1953 Skylark, new jet intake-like bumper guards, and even more chrome, in keeping with 1950s trends.

You will find that the custom look of each factory Roadmaster is further enhanced with twin front fender “bombsights,” limited edition paint treatment; and inside, a truly exclusive selection of fabric and trims.
