Bugatti had previous for celebrating 110th anniversaries. The EB 110 supercar of the 1990s gained its name in honour of what would have been the birthday of eponymous company creator, the late Ettore Bugatti. Then in July 2019, the ‘110 Ans Bugatti’ variant of the lighter Chiron Sport was announced as an homage to the marque’s true founding in 1909. Limited to just 20 cars, the special edition was also a tribute to the Molsheim-based operation’s proud French history.
Accordingly, the bodywork around the rear and the signature C-shaped line enveloping the cabin was painted in matte Steel Blue to complement front end panels finished in exposed Steel Blue Carbon. The two-tone colour combination to divide the monocoque and engine compartment—also a motif revived by the Veyron 16.4 from 2005—was reminiscent of Bugatti models from the 1920s. Further in keeping with tradition, the staple horseshoe radiator remained crafted out of aluminium.
The mirror caps and sandblasted, hand-polished filler cap were detailed with the famous French Tricolore “Le Bleu-Blanc-Rouge” representing the ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity. Meanwhile, the entire underside of the active rear wing was painted in the colours of the national flag. Positioned directly below: a matte black EB logo to match the finish given to the sports exhaust system. These flourishes were further enhanced by the French Racing Blue hue applied to the callipers for the ceramic brakes, which nestled behind “Nocturne” matte black alloy wheels.
A similar treatment was given to the hand-crafted Deep Blue leather interior, courtesy of the Tricolore-influenced embroidery on the backs and headrests of the sports seats, and the top-centre marker on the carbon fibre and blue leather steering wheel. Above the occupants lay Bugatti’s “Sky View” roof. Normally an option for Chiron models, the two laminated glass fixed panels were fitted as standard for the ‘110 Ans Bugatti’ edition.
While a celebration of a proud history, the model retained Bugatti’s pioneering powertrain. It gained the Chiron Sport model’s colossal 8-litre W-16 fed by no fewer than four turbochargers to achieve an output of 1,500 PS. That enabled a sub-2.4-second launch to 100 km/h and a 420 km/h top speed.
The 2020 model year example offered here boasts single ownership from new, having been registered in Germany on 25 November 2019. It was recorded at 1,215 kilometres when the Chiron was first serviced on 9 April 2021, with a second service completed on 7 November 2023. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer now displays only 1,461 kilometres. The car is further complemented by its original Chiron accessory box, famed speed key, charger, car cover, and books.
With Bugatti poised to switch to a hybrid V-16 configuration for its next hypercar, here is a remarkable opportunity to acquire a Chiron, the last model to deploy the statement quad-turbocharged W-16

Mit 110. Geburtstagen kennt Bugatti sich aus. So war der EB110 der 1990er Jahre eine Hommage an Firmengründer Ettore Bugatti zu dessen 110. Wiegenfest. Dann im Juli 2019 wurde die ‚110 Ans Bugatti‘ Variante des leichteren Chiron Sport als Tribut an die tatsächliche Gründung der Marke im Jahr 1909 herausgebracht. Die Produktion limitiert auf nur 20 Exemplare, war diese spezielle Ausgabe auch eine Verbeugung vor der Geschichte dieser stolzen französischen Marke.
Das Heck der Karosserie und die charakteristische C-Linie um die Tür herum wurden in mattem Stahlblau lackiert, während an der Front stahlblauer Sichtkarbon Verwendung findet. Die Zweifarbkombination zur Trennung von Monocoque und Motorraum – ebenfalls ein Motiv, das beim Veyron 16.4 von 2005 wieder aufgegriffen wurde – erinnert an Bugatti-Modelle aus den 1920er Jahren. Der Tradition folgend wurde auch der hufeisenförmige Kühler aus Aluminium gefertigt.
Die Spiegelkappen und der sandgestrahlte, handpolierte Tankdeckel wurden in den französischen Nationalfarben „Bleu-Blanc-Rouge“ ausgeführt, die die Ideale von Freiheit, Gleichheit und Brüderlichkeit repräsentieren. Gleichzeitig wurde die gesamte Unterseite des aktiven Heckflügels in den Farben der Nationalflagge lackiert. Direkt darunter befindet sich ein mattschwarzes EB-Logo, das auf die Lackierung der Sportauspuffanlage abgestimmt ist. Verstärkt wird der Eindruck dieser Verzierungen noch durch Bremssättel in Bleu de France und mattschwarze Leichtmetallfelgen vom Stil Nocturne.
Ähnlich verfahren wurde auch mit dem handgefertigten Lederinterieur in Tiefblau, der Bestickung in Trikolore-Farben auf den Sitzrückseiten und auf den Kopfstützen der Sportsitze und die Top-Center-Markierung des Lenkrads aus Karbon mit blauem Leder.
Über den Insassen befindet sich das Bugatti Sky View-Dach. Normalerweise eine Option für die Chiron-Modelle, sind diese beiden festen Verbundglasscheiben bei der Edition ‚110 Ans Bugatti‘ serienmäßig.
Als Tribut an die stolze Geschichte der Marke behält das Modell gleichzeitig den gewaltigen 8-Liter-W-16-Motor vom Chiron Sport bei. Im Verbund mit nicht weniger als vier Turboladern wird eine Leistung von 1.500 PS erreicht. Dies ermöglicht einen Sprint von unter 2,4 Sekunden auf 100 km/h und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 420 km/h.
Das hier angebotene Exemplar aus dem Modelljahr 2020 befindet sich seit der Erstzulassung in Deutschland am 25. November 2019 in einer Hand. Der erste Service wurde am 9. April 2021 durchgeführt, wobei der Kilometerstand mit 1215 km registriert wurde; eine zweite Wartung erfolgte am 7. November 2023. Zum Zeitpunkt der Drucklegung zeigte der Tacho nur abgelesene 1461 km an. Zum Fahrzeug gehören die Accessoire Box, Speedkey, Lader, Autoschutzdecke und Handbücher.
In Hinblick auf Bugattis Plan für einen Wechsel zu einer W16 Hybridkonfiguration für ihr nächstes Hypercar, ergibt sich hier eine sehr seltene Gelegenheit, einen besonderen Chiron zu erwerben, das letzte Modell mit dem W16 mit Vierfachturbos. Noch begehrter wird dieses Modell durch das ‚110 Ans Bugatti‘ Treatment, zur Feier dieses sehr wichtigen Unternehmen und Frankreichs.
