Its design was signed by Claus Luthe and the Italian Ercole Spada, who previously worked for Zagato. When presented, the general public and journalists alike considered the 7 Series is a very elegant car.
Under the hood, the famous M30 engine, born with the BMW 2500 and 2800, is found in the entry-level segment, with a displacement of 2,986 cm3 and 197 hp for the 730i. The power of the engine goes down to 188 hp in the 1990 vintage, with the adoption of the catalyst. The long gear ratio tempers acceleration in the last two gears but allows you to cruise in silence. In use, it never feels underpowered. Despite weighing in at over 1.5 tons and being 4.91 meters long, the 7-Series E32 has a deft and sound handling.
