Our vendor says there is a complete photographic record of work carried out. Under the bonnet sits a fully detailed M44 (from a 318is) twin-cam engine to which a stainless steel twin-pipe exhaust system is fitted. But the mechanical improvements don't stop there, as all-round discs handle the stopping duties, a five-speed gearbox gets the power out through a revised differential and power steering makes light of any journey. With a bespoke interior (think custom-embroidered leather M-sport seats and alcantara headlining) continuing the theme and serious attention to detail on even the most out-of-sight areas, this '02 for the 2000s is surely the ultimate (restomod) driving machine?
