After a production hiatus of four years, Bentley introduced a face-lifted update of the Azure in 2006. At its heart was Bentley’s tried-and-true 450 bhp, 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 mated to a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. Despite its weight of nearly 5,941 lb, the Azure could hit 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, leading to a top speed of 171 mph, hardly a slouch!

According to the accompanying CARFAX report, this Azure was delivered new to Texas in 2009, where it spent the following seven years with two owners, accumulating just over 11,000 miles. In October 2016 the car was acquired by its current owner and shipped from Houston to Europe, where it was imported to Switzerland. Since arriving in Switzerland, the car has been driven less than 100 miles and remains in exceptional condition throughout. The black original paint presents well, beautifully contrasted by the dark brown leather interior.

Over a decade since the last Azure left Crewe, Bentley did not follow up the Azure with an open-top offering on the Mulsanne platform, and as such, Azures are still highly desirable today. Stately, stylish, and perfectly suited for the occasional Sunday drive or regular use in a warm-weather climate, the Azure is Bentley at its very best. This example, having traveled less than 11,250 miles from new, would be an excellent addition to any enthusiast’s collection.
