Audi EV Sets a 831-Mile Record

The Audi A6 Sportback e-tron has set a new Guinness World Records title after covering 831 miles / 1,338 km on a single charge, beating the previous record held by the Lucid Air Grand Touring.
The result is even more impressive when compared with the Audi’s official WLTP range of 483 miles / 777 km. Rally driver Miko Marczyk managed the run on public roads in Poland, covering the distance in more than 45 hours while averaging just 7.09 kWh/100 km. That represents roughly a 72% improvement over the car’s official range figure.
The previous record, set by the Lucid Air Grand Touring in 2025, stood at 749 miles / 1,205 km. Audi extended it by another 83 miles / 133 km.
Importantly, the record car used the production model’s 94.9-kWh usable battery rather than an oversized experimental pack. Its aerodynamic efficiency also played a major role, with a drag coefficient of just 0.21.
Will anyone regularly achieve 831 miles in everyday driving? Probably not. But does a result like this show how much efficiency matters in an EV? And could better driving conditions and aerodynamics eventually make extreme range less unusual?
