A MODERN TRIBUTE TO A FERRARI LEGEND
•52 просмотра
At a time when many supercars prioritize turbocharged efficiency, dual-clutch gearboxes, and digital precision, Touring Superleggera has chosen a very different path. The Italian coachbuilder has introduced the Veloce12 Aperta, an open-top masterpiece inspired by the legendary Ferrari 550 Maranello. Rather than building a new car from scratch, each example begins with a donor Ferrari 550 supplied by its owner. From there, craftsmen in Milan dedicate more than 5,000 hours to transforming it into a bespoke work of automotive art. Production remains exceptionally exclusive, with each car individually commissioned.
Although its unmistakable silhouette pays tribute to the original 1990s grand tourer, nearly every exterior panel has been redesigned. The elegant 180.3-inch (4,579-mm) body is sculpted from carbon fiber and finished in pristine white, complemented by a luxurious white-and-burgundy leather and suede cabin. Beneath the long hood sits a comprehensively rebuilt 5.5-liter naturally aspirated Ferrari F133 V12, paired with a Supersprint performance exhaust to deliver 503 horsepower (510 PS). The handcrafted convertible accelerates from 0–62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and reaches an estimated top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h), placing character and emotion ahead of outright numbers.
Would you spend nearly $785,000 (€690,000)—plus a Ferrari 550 donor car—for a handcrafted V12 masterpiece that celebrates emotion over outright performance?
