Precision laser-cut stainless steel ensures that COBB Tuning Subaru turbo heatshields can withstand years of abuse. They significantly diminish the venting of heat from exhaust gas temperature into the engine bay … reducing heat soak into key components that benefit from cooler ambient temperature, such as the intercooler. COBB Tuning stainless steel heat shields are designed in-house and are replacements for the factory turbo heatshields found on many turbocharged Subarus.
