    I've had the new electric Countryman for a few weeks now, and it's completely changed my perspective on what a MINI can be. It keeps all the fun and personality of my old MINI Hatch - that go-kart feeling, the stylish interior with the circular screen, the head-turning looks - but adds the practicality I actually need here. The 230 kW all-electric powertrain is an absolute game-changer. The instant torque makes merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road exhilarating, and it's so quiet and smooth in city traffic. I've been charging at home and the running costs are minimal compared to petrol cars. What really won me over is the space. The back seat actually fits adults comfortably, and the trunk swallows all my beach gear, shopping bags, and even IKEA trips. The higher ride height gives me better visibility in traffic, while still being easy to park. It's the perfect combination of MINI's signature fun and the practical versatility you need for UAE life.
