So, I switched to a Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 about a year ago, and I have to say, it’s been a fantastic choice for Dubai.
Let's be honest, on Sheikh Zayed Road, you're surrounded by huge SUVs and supercars. But my Jetta? It’s a hero in its own way. It has 228 horsepower, which is more than enough. It feels quick and stable when I need to merge into fast traffic. The best part is the fuel economy. With petrol prices here, saving money on my daily drive is a huge win.
For city life, it’s perfect. It’s not too big, so parking in tight spots at Mall of the Emirates or City Walk is much easier than in a big SUV. The air conditioner is a lifesaver – it gets cold really fast, which is essential for our summer. On long drives to Abu Dhabi, the seats are comfortable, and the ride is smooth.
It’s not a "status" car for showing off, so people don't really stare. But it looks sleek and modern. For me, it’s a smart, practical car. It’s great for a single person or a couple who wants a reliable, fun-to-drive, and economical car for Dubai's mix of crazy traffic and long highways. I definitely recommend test-driving it
