My Mercedes GLC has been the ideal partner for Dubai's mix of glamour and gridlock. It’s the perfect size—big enough to feel commanding on Sheikh Zayed Road, yet small enough that parking in places like City Walk is never a drama.

The 2.0-liter engine is smooth and has plenty of power for quick highway overtakes. But the real luxury is the cabin. It’s a quiet, beautifully built oasis from the heat and noise outside. The air conditioning is fantastically powerful, cooling the leather seats in minutes. It’s just a lovely place to be, whether you're stuck in traffic or on a long, comfortable cruise to Abu Dhabi.

It’s not for desert adventures, and maintenance costs are higher than for a Japanese brand. But for a daily driver that blends prestige, comfort, and everyday practicality so seamlessly, the GLC is pretty much perfect.
