I've been driving the updated CX-5 for a couple of months, and it's honestly one of the most well-rounded SUVs you can get for life here. The 2.5L engine is smooth and has plenty of power – merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road is effortless, and it feels confident on longer drives to Abu Dhabi. What really sets it apart is how it drives. It feels more connected and refined than so many other SUVs in its class, almost like a sporty hatchback but with a commanding view. The cabin is a lovely, quiet place to be, with high-quality materials that stand up well to the dusty environment. It's the perfect size – spacious enough for my family and all our beach gear, yet still easy to park. For someone who enjoys driving but needs a practical, stylish, and utterly reliable family SUV, the CX-5 is a fantastic choice. It just feels special.
