I’ve had the 2022 Hyundai Elantra (Automatic) for about a year now, and overall it’s been a great daily driver. The IVT (Hyundai’s smart CVT) actually surprised me — it’s smooth and doesn’t have that annoying “rubber band” feel like older CVTs. Around town, it feels responsive enough, and on the highway, it stays quiet and relaxed at higher speeds.
