This is the first time that a Frank Rondinelli-created car or motorcycle has been offered by Barrett-Jackson. Frank has been building cars since he was 11 years old. This 1937 Willys sedan delivery was created in 1999 at Frank's Charter House Collision in London, Ontario, Canada. Full photo documentation comes with the car of the 3-week transformation from a 4-door Willys sedan to an all-steel, body lowered, shaved and chopped 3' sedan delivery. Finished in Cobalt Blue over pearl ghost flames. Aluminum boxed engine bay.
Power comes from a no-expense-spared 383 stroker with a Holley 750 double-pumper carburetor, aluminum intake, aluminum oil pan, new starter, oil cooler, ceramic headers, Moroso aluminum fittings, MSD wires and electronic ignition, electric water and fuel pumps, aluminum radiator with dual fans and an auxiliary underbody fan-cooled radiator. All stainless-steel fuel, oil, brake and water lines, new JAZ fuel cell, new dual Flowmaster exhaust. A comfortable-shifting Chevy 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission with B&M shifter with lock-out and 9' Ford rear end. Independent front suspension, rack & pinion steering, rear coilover shocks with leaf springs. New brakes.
New custom interior with all Auto Meter Phantom gauges, power windows, leather and billet steering wheel with tilt, new upgraded stereo with subwoofers and separate rear power supply. Under-driver wheelwell battery turn-off. Fabulous shaved features include all exterior stainless and door handles, retractable dual rear antennas, Viper snorkel hood air inlets. Hidden cable entry pulls for driver's door, hood, gas tank and rear hatch. Rides on the original American Racing aluminum wheels with new BFGoodrich tires. Less than 500 miles driven on the new engine installed in 2005.
