Lancé en 1950, le Type 2 allait donner naissance à une impressionnante variété de modèles adaptés à une vaste palette d'activités professionnelles et privées ; l'un des plus rares était le pick-up double cabine à deux rangées de sièges connu sous le nom de 'Doka' (Doppelkabine).
