Very tidy, low-mileage, low ownership, 8-valve car, with a substantial history file and very well presented in Mars Red.

The Mk2 may have suffered for not being the first Golf GTi, but in many ways, it’s a better car - faster, more comfortable and more modern. Powered by a 1.8-litre, naturally-aspirated, 8-valve inline-four, producing around 110bhp, driving the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Showing just two former keepers and an odometer reading of 46,801 miles at the time of cataloguing, this desirable 3-door GTi has been returned to the road after being laid up from 2001 until May of this year. Finished in the classic GTi combination of Tornado Red with grey checked cloth seats. MOT valid until 18/05/2026 issued with 'no advisories'.
