$22,000 USD | Sold

This car is in amazing condition. It has most of its original parts. The unique color, Dove Blue, doesn't stray very far from the VW family, as it has been carefully chosen from early type 2 VW transporters. It is amazing. The motor is a strong, original, highly detailed 1.6-liter with dual Weber carburetors topped off with early VW bug 36hp air cleaners. The engine tin is powder-coated in satin black with a custom Thing exhaust system and runs great. Custom Randar wheels in satin black roll on new low-profile tires. The interior includes new seat padding and black covers with all the detail of a factory fresh VW. Wood duck boards on the floors and a custom rubber glove box mat add to the details. Highly desired glass windows with a brand-new frame and top as well, from The Thing Shop.
