Total frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration of a straight, Southwest 4x4 FJ40, equipped with a fuel-injected Chevy 350 and Toyota 4-speed manual transmission. Nearly every component is either factory Chevrolet or Toyota. The rebuilt TBI Chevy 350 engine utilizes a serpentine belt system with a high amp alternator, power steering and Flowmasters exhaust. The entire factory Chevy wiring harness has been adapted to the Toyota body achieving a completely factory look throughout, even the factory diagnostic port is present in-cab. The transmission and transfer case were rebuilt as well.

This truck is equipped with 4-wheel power disc brakes, upgrading the factory drums to vented discs all around with 4-piston calipers up front and stainless steel braided lines. The front has a shackle reversal for a more comfortable ride on the brand new Nitto 33' all terrain tires and XD 17x8' wheels. All new suspension including Rancho shocks and all bushings upgraded to Energy polyurethane. The entire body was fully media blasted, covered with etching primer top to bottom and then sprayed base coat / clear coat in gorgeous Sterling Grey Metallic. Custom tube bumpers installed front and rear and sprayed with Line-X bed-liner along with the side steps.

The exterior is finished off with diamond-plate rear corners and side panels, H4 conversion headlights, front and rear bumper-mounted auxiliary lights, LED turn signals and LED brake lights. The interior is both luxurious and durable with the tub completely Line-X bed-lined, a full custom one-off roll cage, two brand-new high-back leather reclining front seats and reupholstered rear jump seats. The mirror-finish dash is complete with five new Auto Meter gauges, a beautiful line of custom switches and a 7' DVD navigation system. Magnificent and clean, this truck is an amazing blend of new and old, a Resto-Mod Land Cruiser for the ultimate driving experience. Only test miles since completion.
