Quirky and eye-catching, right-hand drive, UK-registered, 4.2-litre FJ60-based private fire appliance with less than 2,600km and an MOT until February 2026. First registered in Japan in March 1983, this right-hand drive Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 was converted to a fire truck by Morita and reputedly used at a Polyplastics factory in Fujian. Imported to the UK in 2020, UK-registered and used for shows and charity events etc., it shows just 2,543km. Equipped with a 4.2-litre Toyota 2F petrol, inline six-cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission with high and low range gearing and a four-wheel drive system.
Finished in red with colour-coded heavy-duty steel wheels, it also has a basic canvas soft top over the cab to provide light protection from sun or rain. Kitted out with all the usual fire truck bells and whistles, sirens and lights. Supplied with some invoices for work carried out in the UK, including electric power-steering, MOT until February 2026 ('no advisories') and import papers. Presented in its original condition, this ex-Japanese fire truck is a quirky and eye-catching utility vehicle and would be welcome at any show or summer fete.
