This fabulous Raymond Loew- designed 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk includes unmistakable European/Italian influence apparent in the Mercedes-like front end and definitely 1950s huge rear fins. 1957 is recognized as one of the best years for this model. It was definitely the luxury performance sports coupe of its time. It's finished in standout mirror-gloss black with gold fin inserts and wheels and has the correct golden interior. Powered by a 289ci Sweepstakes overhead-valve V8 engine with McCulloch supercharger rated at 275hp, it has a 3-speed transmission with overdrive.

The complete frame-up restoration included body and paint, all chrome plated, stainless polished, new interior and detailed undercarriage. Additionally, the engine and transmission were overhauled. The supercharger was completely rebuilt by a marque specialist, including starter, generator, voltage regulator, water pump and radiator. The driveline and limited-slip rear end were rebuilt. It rides on correct Firestone whitewall tires. Replacing the original parts are an electronic tachometer, quartz clock and AM/FM stereo.
