This rather smart Smart has covered less than 37,000 miles and is offered without reserve.
Introduced in 1998 as a collaboration between Daimler-Benz and Swatch, the Smart City Coupé combined the names Swatch, Mercedes and Art, aiming to revolutionise the micro-car market with its compact footprint and distinctive design. Registered in 2002, this example has had three previous keepers and covered less than 37,000 miles. Finished in off-white with contrasting black B-pillars, this example features a blue cloth interior and smart alloy wheels all in keeping with its functional city-focused character. Powered by a 599cc turbocharged inline three-cylinder engine with electronic multipoint fuel injection producing 55bhp at 5,250rpm, driving through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Built with practicality in mind, its compact dimensions allow nose-in parking, making it well suited to urban environments and everyday use. Benefiting from recommissioning in recent years including a water pump, NSR wheel bearing, driveshaft and a starter motor in 2025. A low mileage example of this distinctive city car, offering an accessible entry into modern classic ownership.
