This 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is powered by a 6.75-liter 48-valve aluminum V12 engine factory rated at 453hp and 531 ft/lbs of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with factory automatic load-leveling suspension, which is comprised of air-sprung double wishbones up front, a multi-link setup out back and computer-controlled dampers. It also features front and rear parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights and a power-operated black soft-top. It rides on 24-inch custom RR alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero R ZR tires.
The exterior features alloy and composite body panels over an aluminum space-frame chassis with double-floor construction and is finished in Black Diamond Metallic. This edition also features the brushed stainless-steel hood, hardcover teak deck package and retractable Spirit of Ecstasy grille ornament. The interior features Moccasin leather upholstery, displaying RR emblems in headrests and black leather that adorns the armrests and center console. It also features full custom black sheep's-wool floor covers front and rear.
A leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with RR wood trim on its three spokes, sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a power reserve meter, rearview camera and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. It also features reverse-hinged power-assisted coach doors that store RR umbrellas and reveals seating for four, along with heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory, multimedia stereo with Sirius satellite radio, Bluetooth, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, Lexicon Logic7 audio system and a heated windshield. The rear of the car features a split trunk with a fold-down tailgate.
Twin floor panels open to access a storage cavity, tool kit and a first-aid kit. This example has been in a California classic dealer's private collection since April 2018.
