Inspired by the three-time Le Mans-winning Porsche 919 Prototype racer, this 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition melds competition-inspired cosmetics with driver-focused performance enhancements. With black exterior paint and graphics inspired by Porsche’s 2016 WEC racing team, the 911 features 20-inch black 911 Turbo Design wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires, black-accent LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System, and an electric glass sunroof.
The black leather interior features the Premium Package Plus’ 14-way power heated-and-ventilated Sport Seats with Memory Package, Porsche-embossed headrests, carbon-fiber interior package, Guards Red seatbelts and a console lid embossed with “Porsche Intelligent Performance.” Other exclusives include special doorsill plates, a GT Sport Steering wheel with Guards Red 12 o’clock band and an appropriate “Endurance Racing Edition” dash badge. Dual climate controls, power windows and locks, a Bose Surround Sound stereo system, navigation, Bluetooth, USB and Apple CarPlay are also featured.
Powered by the Carrera S-spec 3.0L/420 HP flat 6-cylinder engine mated to a PDK automatic transmission and Sport exhaust, the Endurance Racing Edition’s fearsome performance is enhanced by the multimode Sport Chrono Package plus Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control with Porsche Active Suspension Management Sport Suspension.
