This Pontiac Tempest sports a recently completed professional restoration to factory specifications. This car was originally ordered as a Tempest Sport coupe with a 230ci engine but was changed to a 428 shortly after. Its powered by an era-correct 428ci YH block engine with new dual Holley 450 carburetors, rebuilt heads with roller rockers and a new Isky camshaft, NOS Mickey Thompson dual cross-ram manifold, black ceramic-coated long-tube headers and new exhaust. Backing the engine is a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter package turning a 355 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with all-new gears.

This Pontiac is equipped with electronic ignition, new alternator, new battery and an aluminum radiator. It's finished in new paint with new bumpers and chrome trim and rides on Cragar wheels, shocks and rear springs. The clean factory interior features a dash pad, factory radio, factory Pontiac hood tach, new Pontiac factory wood wheel and an Ididit tilt steering column.
