As a result of almost 50 years of collaboration between Peugeot and Pininfarina, the 406 coupe was a true commercial success, proving that it was possible to manufacture luxury GT cars in France, but also to sell them in volume. This particular example is a desirable phase 1 with the most successful design and equipped with the most powerful engine available: the 3L V6 associated with a manual gearbox. It was sold new in July 1998 by the Peugeot dealership in Metz; Andre Trigano then acquired it in 2021, seduced by its elegant grey colour associated with a black leather interior. With a total of 157,492 km, the car has had a coat of paint and the interior will need to be cleaned.
It is equipped with a Pioneer CD radio and also includes its logbooks, such as the service logbook stamped up to 149,000 km. Elegant and well-powered, this 406 coupe does not lack in attractiveness.
