Registration: E134 CRX

The Nissan 300ZX is a legendary sportscar produced across two generations and remains one of the most celebrated models in Nissan’s iconic Z-car lineage. As with all Z-cars, the 300ZX was marketed in Japan as the Fairlady Z. The first generation, known as the Z31, was produced from 1983-1989 and became the highest-volume Z-car ever built, cementing its place as a sales success for Nissan. Designed by Kazumasu Takagi and his development team, the Z31 offered significant improvements in aerodynamics and performance over its predecessor, the 280ZX.

Over the years, the 300ZX has become one of Nissan’s most loved and collectible sportscars, earning accolades such as Motor Trend’s Import Car of the Year (1990) and appearing on Car and Driver’s Ten Best list for seven consecutive years. Today, it is increasingly rare to find an unmodified, low-mileage example of the earlier Z31 generation particularly in 2+2 Turbo Targa form.

It is very rare to find a totally standard, unmodified, Nissan 300ZX 2+2 Turbo Z31 Targa with only 77,328 warranted miles and specification which includes T top roof, central locking, electric windows, cruise control, electric mirrors, velour interior trim, original radio cassette player, electric aerial. Supplied with a full-service history, owner’s manuals, and a comprehensive folder of invoices, this 300ZX has clearly been cherished throughout its life. It has been stored in a heated garage and is described as in full working order, ready to be driven, shown, or added to a discerning collection.

A rare opportunity to acquire one of just around 22 remaining examples in the UK, this car epitomises the enduring appeal of Nissan’s 1980s turbocharged Z-cars, a genuine Japanese performance classic. Consigned by Baljit Singh
