'K400 MOG' was built by the factory on 1-12-1992 as a 1993 model Morgan plus 4, but after only one year of ownership - the enthusiastic Morgan owner, Ray Murmann, took the car to renowned Morgan specialist, Colin Musgrove, who installed a 2.5 litre straight six BMW engine taken from a nearly new BMW 325I donor car, complete with the 5 speed GETRAG gearbox. He also swopped the BMW OBD diagnostic plug allowing routine servicing by any agent with BMW dealer diagnostics or Autologic systems.

Finished in traditional British Racing Green and the beneficiary of a recent complete respray, the car has only covered 10,000 miles today and has had under body corrosion treatment and a protective coating applied underneath. Further recent work includes 5 new Pirelli Cinturato tyres, new 'HiSpec' discs and calipers, all brake cables replaced, new aluminium radiator and upgraded cooling system.

Finally door openers and a footwell storage box have been added, along with a new steering wheel and polished boss, bespoke Plus 6 badging and a billet horn with Morgan engraving.

Beating the factory's switch to BMW engines by over a decade, this car offers a unique part of Morgan history and an exceptional driving experience today with MOT and tax until Feb 2013.
