2010 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate
Chassis no. WDD2042771F456156
After joining the newly formed Mercedes GP Petronas Formula 1 team, seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher received this Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate in January 2010. The car was registered in the name of Mercedes-Benz AG in Schlieren, Switzerland, but annotations in Michael Schumacher's Swiss Fahrzeugausweis identify him as the “driver” (listed as Schumacher, Mickael). As one would expect, the Mercedes was luxuriously equipped, and its fitted options would have added more than €20,000 to the base price. The car remained at Michael Schumacher's disposal until 28 July 2010.
From 2011 to 2015, the car belonged to a Swiss citizen who was responsible for most of its mileage. A Mercedes-Benz service report records seven visits during this period. In 2015, at 146,278 kilometres, the car passed to a Mercedes-Benz engineer in Germany. The new owner brought it back to excellent condition, replacing all four wheels among other things, while adding fewer than 1,000 kilometres to the total.
The vendor purchased the Mercedes in early 2018. He has used the car only during the summer months, and all necessary work has been carried out by the local Mercedes-Benz dealer. At the time this catalogue was prepared, the odometer showed just under 152,000 km.
Finished in black with a matching leather interior, the Mercedes is described by the vendor as being in good overall condition (its TüV inspection dates from March 2021). The car will be fitted with a new set of tyres and inspected by a Mercedes-Benz dealer before the sale. An opportunity not to be missed for any Mercedes-Benz collector.
