When Mazda designed its MX-5 it kept things simple. The concept was to recreate a classic British sports car of days gone by - a modern interpretation of a Lotus Elan or MGB - and boy did they crack it! As only the Japanese can, they took an idea that we had and made it even better - and over the years buyers have lapped it up.
This particular MX5 is one of 40 that were ever manufactured and called the "Tokyo Limited'. There were 20 manual cars and 20 automatics, specification included Brilliant Black paintwork, cream leather interior with alcantara blue suede dash, air conditioning, tan coloured soft top, highly polished spoke alloys, chrome door mirrors, polished tread plates and a sports steering wheel, all of which made this a very high spec MX5.
We are informed that this beautifully presented car was previously owned by a lady vicar (honestly!). It benefits from a recent major service and cambelt change by a recognised MX5 specialist along with a brand new MOT.
