With just over 1,000 miles on the odometer, this Lucid Air Touring is finished in Metallic Stellar White and is powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel drive system delivering 620 HP. The all-electric vehicle offers a 425-mile range and can sprint from 0-60 in just a tick over 3-seconds. An exceedingly modern luxury vehicle, Lucid offered a limited run of their first cars for sale in late 2021, selling out immediately. Today, customers have four models to choose from, beginning with the Air Pure, leveling up to the Air Touring, graduating to the Air Grand Touring and finally the topline Air Sapphire, costing a healthy $250,000.
As one of the quickest cars on the planet, the Air Sapphire showed its performance acumen when it was pit against the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Bugatti Chiron, showing a 9.1-second ¼-mile time at a ludicrous 156 MPH. It outran both the Tesla and the Bugatti, and Lucid has long maintained that the Sapphire will easily cross the 200 MPH barrier.
The interior is upholstered in Graphite and Ivory colored Nappa leather sourced from the world’s only carbon-neutral supply house and features a stunning array of the latest technology such as a 23-speaker stereo system with Surreal Sound, Bluetooth wireless technology, a massive 34-inch command center display screen and a glass canopy roof with heat and light management technology. Interestingly, the Air Touring is also fitted with surround-view video monitoring with blind-spot assist, Future Ready Hardware for autonomous driving and Dream Drive Pro Assist.
Of course, the Lucid is fully equipped with power steering, power brakes, power locks, power windows and all the other accouterments anyone would expect from a premium luxury car. Rolling on 20-inch Lucid forged aluminum wheels with wide, low-profile tires, the Lucid Air has taken the concept of the premium electric vehicle to another level.
