In 1970 the Lincoln Town Car was initially introduced as a luxurious trim package on the Lincoln Continental. It featured additional niceties such as plusher carpets as well as extended leather throughout the interior. The design of the Continental Town Car embodies that of American cars from the 1970s with its square angles and large grille, and its look was designed to match that of its competitor, the Cadillac Eldorado.

This 1978 example is in very good condition and has previously been entered into shows as a testament. The car has also been previously used as a wedding vehicle, and is also currently known to the Lincoln Owners Club. There is some history equipped with the car, including its import documents. It's beige exterior colour with beige leather interior are both in good condition and are thought to be a period colour combination. It's 6.6-litre V8 engine is said to be running well. These American "land yacht" styled cars hark back to a bygone era of comfort and offer an incredible relaxed driving experience as a result. This is a good and useable example.
