For 1990, Lincoln would introduce an extensively restyled and reengineered Town Car, replacing the relatively compact and very boxy design first issued in 1980. Longer and more streamlined, the new Town Car offered greater interior volume with seating for six, supple leather or velour upholstery, plush carpeting and a multitude of soft surfaces with high-quality materials. Several signature design elements adorned the body easily identifying it as a Town Car, such as the flat sides, known as slab sides, the waterfall grille, the vertical taillights with the horizontal reflective bar, raised center section hood and full-radius wheel wells among them.
Initially powered by the outgoing 5.0L/150 HP V-8 engine, the new 4.6L/190 HP modular V-8 would take the baton for 1991, increasing not only power but efficiency while reducing noise levels. For 1994, dual exhausts and minor tuning would help the 4.6L discover 210 HP. Spanning production through 1997, just under 1 million third-generation Town Cars were sold, marking it as one of the most popular generations ever. This 1995 Town Car is finished in Opalescent Pearl White and shows just over 52,000 miles on the odometer.
The light gray leather interior features a moonroof, 8-way power-adjustable heated seats with the memory position package, a tilt steering wheel, automatic climate control, power windows, power locks, power dual sideview mirrors, auto-dimming headlights, a factory JBL AM/FM stereo system with a 10-disc CD changer and much more.
