The 1964 Lincoln Continental has never been a vehicle that can be overlooked. From its raw cubist form to its level of luxury, these models have always represented exquisite taste since their introduction. For the person who wants to have it all and more, this recently completed restoration and further retrofitting by No End Customs of Morgan Hill, California, means this classic ’64 convertible features a substantial number of outstanding changes that will ensure its enjoyable operation while making it turn heads on the showfield as well.

Underneath its expansive hood now resides a modern 6.0L GM LS V-8 engine, which is equipped with a Holley Terminator X engine management system, air conditioning, a custom Flowmaster exhaust system and one-off metal work done within the engine bay. Note the custom-painted intake and valve covers. A built 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission with column shifter is mounted behind the engine, and there is a Ford 9-inch differential from Quick Performance with 3.73 final gearing out back. Other undercarriage changes include the 4-wheel QA1 coilover suspension with custom rear linked suspension, a Hydroboost brake system with front discs, and power steering.

The body with its factory reverse-hinged hood and rear doors, wears Metallic Silver paint, complemented by a power-operated tan convertible top with remote control, and that system features new hydraulics and hoses. It covers the white bench-seat interior, which is now equipped with Dakota Digital gauges, black carpet, power windows, a hidden updated Bluetooth audio head unit equipped with amplifiers and subwoofer, a two-tone factory steering wheel and OE vehicle trim. Upgraded with LED headlights, an aluminum gas tank by Devious Customs and this model’s myriad brightwork accounted for, the final touches are modern 20-inch Raceline Manhattan wheels and low-profile tires.

The era of this model’s birth has long disappeared into automotive history, remembered for its style and honorable ownership. This unique one-off take on a classic automobile will show the crowd how it should be done right.
