appreciated by collectors.

The model we present is one of the 200 or so Appia

GTE built between 1958 and 1962, powered by its

1,090 cm3 V-type 4-cylinder engine fitted with an inverted

double-barrel Weber 36 DCL 5 carburetor. Light and well-balanced, playful handling and first-rate performance

thanks to a well-tuned 4-speed manual gearbox. >|

This model joined the collection in 2000. Found

partially disassembled in Sweden, the car was completely

restored between 2002 and 2006 by the Prestige body shop in

Tecnica Auto in Paris for the mechanics, front and rear

the front and rear axles and brakes, and finally by the

LSP upholstery in Vitry-sur-Seine for the entire interior.

All the work is recorded in a comprehensive file containing

photos, restoration and maintenance invoices, press articles about our car

and expert reports.

Certainly one of the cars our collector drove the most

with, the car now boasts over 53,600 km on the odometer.
