A desirable manual-transmission model, this left-hand drive Jarama 'S' was acquired by the late owner in May 1980 at 57,000 kilometres, the previous keeper listed being Burmah Castrol c/o BOTL, Swindon. The Lamborghini was purchased for £6,600 via dealer Nick Shrigley-Feigl of Knutsford Cheshire, at which time it was registered 'UCA 291V'. The Jarama remained with NS-F for several years, undergoing a repaint (colour change), bodywork repairs, retrim and new carpets in the early 1980s, these works adding a further circa £6,000 to the cost. The car was registered as 'VF 25' in 1982.
In 1983 the late owner returned from Saudi Arabia, where he had worked for the British Aircraft Corporation, and became a permanent UK resident. The car's regular maintenance was then entrusted to Ferdi's Garage of Lytham, Lancashire, whose bills for the period 1985 to 2019 are on file. A new clutch was fitted in 2005 at 67,000 kilometres, while the most recent invoice was for new tyres and wheel refurbishment by Modern Classics Ltd, Lytham in 2022 (£2,600). Also on file is an original sales brochure; a V5C Registration Certificate; and numerous old MoTs, one of which records an odometer reading of 55,000 kilometres in 1979.
The car was last MoT'd in 2018 at 68,800 kilometres (the current reading is 69,016 kilometres). Please note the cherished registration number 'VF 25' is being retained and sold separately.
