The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is a purpose-built race car constructed by Lamborghini’s in-house motorsports division, Lamborghini Squadra Corse. It was designed and developed in collaboration with Dallara Engineering, with direct involvement by founder Giampaolo Dallara, whose history with Lamborghini dates to the early-1960s when he worked as a development engineer on the company’s early GT cars and the legendary Miura. The Huracan Super Trofeo starts life as a “body-in-white” LP 620.

Lamborghini extricated 335 pounds of excess weight largely through the use of two-wheel-drive in lieu of all-wheel-drive and a host of other weight-reduction strategies that includes a competition-specific hybrid carbon-fiber/aluminum chassis. Although the engine remains largely in stock configuration, the suspension is calibrated for racing, as is the aerodynamics with a ten-position rear wing, front and rear diffusers and adjustable front air intakes. The transmission is a 6-speed electronically actuated sequential gearbox. Weighing in at an ultra-light 2,800 pounds, the Huracan Super Trofeo has an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 4.5 pounds per horsepower.

This Huracan Super Trofeo—Car No. 6—was originally purchased by Ryan Ockey, who captured the 2015 LST AM championship. It was later purchased by US Racetronics based out of Ontario, California. With driver Steven Aghakhani, Car No. 6 is the reigning 2017 National Auto Sport Association Southern California Region Championship winner in the Super Unlimited class. The youngest driver in National Auto Sport Association history, Aghakhani was only 14 years old when he realized this milestone achievement. This 2015 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is “race-ready” and has been professionally maintained and serviced by US Racetronics.

Car No. 6 comes with a spare set of wheels, wheel socket and fuel jug. It has undergone a recent gearbox rebuild and has new brake rotors, brake pads, axles and clutch installed.
