  • Single Italian ownership until 2014
  • Fully restored by a Lamborghini specialist, yet retains its lovely original interior
  • Retains its original engine

Purchased new by Sergio Monte in the province of Treviso, Italy, at a cost of 8,300,000 lire, this Series II Espada was delivered new just as you see it today, finished in Bianco with a Blu leather interior and registered as TV 187273. It is accompanied by its original Italian libretto, showing all the requisite ACI stamps and notations, illustrating that it remained in Mr Monte’s ownership for well over four decades before being purchased by the current owner from Mr Monte’s children following his passing, who has not registered it in his name, just a few years ago.

As the car had not been run for quite some time, it was decided that it would be fully restored to its original specification. Sent to Robert Fehr, a noted German Lamborghini specialist, this was a true frame-off restoration and no stone was left unturned in bringing the car back to as-new condition . . . with one exception. The car’s leather trim would be saved (with the seat cushioning being replaced), as it remained in excellent, well-preserved condition, retaining an attractive and tactile level of patina to a truly exceptional automobile.

The car was found to be exceptionally original throughout, and still retains its original engine, and the work completed is well documented in invoices available on file. In addition to the aforementioned original Italian libretto, it is accompanied by its exceptionally rare original owner’s manuals and tools.

Make no mistake; this is a truly remarkable Espada in every respect.
