It took a long time for the Jaguar XJS to be accepted in the classic world but years before that happened, its successor, the XK8, was being heartily embraced by classic car fans. When new, the 4-litre, 32-valve, AJ-V8 generated 290bhp and offered 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds and 156mph. This good looking early car is finished in Ice Blue Metallic with a dark blue mohair hood and 18" alloys. Classic XK interior in Ivory leather and vinyl with Mushroom carpets and polished Walnut veneers. First registered on 15/04/1997 it has covered just over 29,000 miles with our vendor and two former registered keepers. Detailed Service history. Fresh MOT before the auction.
