The Targa roof XJ-SC was introduced in 1983 but was only available with a six-cylinder engine until 1985 when the V12 entered production by which time Jaguar had produced the HE version, being more fuel efficient. It wasn’t until 1988 that a fully convertible XJS was available, which become the more popular version although now their values can be twice the cost of the earlier Targa cars. This example was registered new in 1987 supplied by Appleyard Jaguar of Bradford. Showing 75,257 the car comes with the factory handbook pack that shows a full service history up to 73,995 miles and is supplied with an MoT test certificate until 27th August 2022. Showing little sign of age the coachwork is very pleasant as is the interior. Fitted with a TWR bodykit and wheels this XJS looks superb!
