Chassis No.: 2G1485BW

Engine No.: 7P-34124

Registration: FVY 453S

The Jaguar XJ Coupé was based on the short wheelbase version of the XJ and offered in 4.2 and 5.3-litre engine sizes. In 1977 just 1,776 Jaguar XJ12 4.2 Coupés and 329 5.3 V12s were built by the factory making these coupés quite rare today.

This well presented example is offered in good condition throughout having been part of a significant collection in recent years. The paintwork presents nicely as does the interior which is very good. The XJ Coupé has been the subject of much renovation work and in 2011 it was treated to £11,729 of works including various upgrades to the front and rear suspension, undertaken by marque specialists KWE limited. Unlike many of the examples on the market this V12 XJ Coupé benefits from a refreshed engine bay and a well presented underside having seen light use since the previous restoration work.

Recently fitted with a stainless steel exhaust and currently showing 33,988 on the odometer the mileage is believed to be genuine but not warranted. Included in the sizeable history file are bills for restoration work, sundry invoices, the current V5C registration document, various Jaguar booklets and a current MoT test certificate valid until 31st August 2021.
