Built specifically as a high level show car for Powerbass USA, this 2004 Hyundai coupe was designed to draw attention to every facet of the car show attendee's interest. Once the near flawless overall paint job draws your attention to the vehicle, the over the top detailed forced induction engine, draws the gear-head to the front. Audiophiles will be drawn to the rear of the car to catch a glimpse of the one of a kind Powerbass audio system. The interior is over the top, and professionally done. Nothing was missed. The car features a professionally done 2.7 Liter V6, with custom designed forced induction and nitrous system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels thru a stage 4 racing clutch to a 6-speed manual transmission. The interior features custom laser etched acrylic parts and custom upholstery. The stereo system is custom made, and features one-of-a-kind acrylic Powerbass amps. This vehicle was the premier show car for Powerbass, and has been seen at SEMA, CES, MERA and the Spring Break Nationals. This car was a featured car on the 'Hot Import Nights' TV Series on the Speed Channel. The car has been featured in numerous magazines and TV spots, including Performance Auto & Sound, S3 and StreetScene.
This car has dominated the Texas car show scene including dozens of 'Best of Shows' and 'Best Paints' in almost all Hot Import Nights, Extreme Drift Circuits, Mean Streets, and the famous Texas Heat Wave Series from 2006 to 2011, when it was moved and garaged in Arizona. Awards not included.
