"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find them, maybe you can hire … the A-Team." The opening narration of the hit television show “The A-Team” is just about as famous as B.A. Baracus’ (Mr. T) custom GMC Van. This 1992 GMC Van is a faithful recreation of the one used in the show, painted in the correct A-Team livery with a gray interior and three rows of seating.
A 5.7L V-8 engine and automatic transmission motivates the van, which is equipped with air conditioning, an overhead console with CB radio, a Kenwood AM/FM stereo system with remote control, a Sony three-head, reel-to-reel tape recorder in the passenger area, attention-getting Horntones FX500 horns, a proper brush bar up front, the red and black turbine-style wheels and Goodyear tires. Autographed by Dirk Benedict, who played Templeton “Faceman” Peck, more often referred to as just “Face,” this van looks ready to evade the military and local police when trying to help those who can’t help themselves.
