$35,200 USD | Sold

This 1976 Gran Torino Starsky & Hutch Special Edition was factory-built by Ford. It is documented with the original Build Sheet and Elite Marti report. Only 1,305 of these special-edition models were produced worldwide. This Torino is finished in the correct factory 2B Bright Red paint with the correct White Vector stripes. The special edition Gran Torinos were completely painted white, then the stripe was masked, and the Bright Red paint was added to the body. This example of the Starsky & Hutch Special Edition is powered by a Coast High-Performance 409ci crate engine with Edelbrock fuel injection mated to an automatic transmission.

Features include an aluminum radiator and upgraded 4-wheel cross-drilled discs brakes, and the suspension has been completely overhauled with the rear suspension upgraded. Aftermarket gauges have been added and the battery has been relocated to the trunk. Has the original black interior. The distinctive removable 'police light' adds the final authentic Starsky & Hutch touch. The sale includes the original Build Sheet and Elite Marti Report.
