The Hennessey name has long been associated with extreme high performance, with the Texas firm modifying more than 15,000 cars and trucks since John Hennessey started in 1991. With the introduction of the seventh-generation Mustang in 2024, Hennessey turned its attention to establishing a new benchmark for Ford’s evergreen pony car with the Hennessey Super Venom package. Hennessey then took the next logical step by injecting its Super Venom performance package into the already track-focused, 500 HP Mustang Dark Horse variant.
The result is the incredible 2025 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Hennessey Super Venom, one of just four Hennessey Super Venom Dark Horses produced as of this writing and one of 91 Super Venoms overall. More than a raw power bonanza, the Hennessey Super Venom Dark Horse is the complete package, leveraging the subject vehicle’s 5.0L Coyote V-8, refined aerodynamics and race-ready underpinnings to their maximum potential.
The DOHC Coyote V-8 employs a forged 2.65L Hennessey supercharger combined with a high-flow air induction system, a race-spec fuel pump feeding upgraded fuel injectors, and air pump and HPE engine management calibration to deliver 850 HP at 7,200 RPM and 650 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 RPM, paying off with 10.9-second quarter-mile times and a 0-60 MPH launch in just 3.2 seconds with an automatic transmission. The car’s VenomAero performance package is designed to enhance handling and cooling while improving overall downforce.
This comprehensive carbon-fiber component package includes front splitter and air-shaping hood with functional vents, sculpted side skirts and fender louvers, rear deck lid, lip spoiler, gooseneck rear spoiler and side-mirror caps, all working to keep the Mustang glued to the track at speed. Lightweight, 20-inch performance wheels with Hennessey branding are also part of the magic. The Super Venom package adds more unique style to this Dark Horse, which stands apart as the only Super Venom finished in Vapor Blue with a matching blue interior, the latter distinguished by hand-stitched Hennessey leather and Alcantara seats, embossed Hennessey signature logos and a custom engraved dash plaque.
