وُلد في عائلة من عشاق السيارات تعود جذورها إلى السنوات الأولى جدًا لشركة Ford Motor Company، وكان من الطبيعي أن يقوده مصير Dario Orlando في نهاية المطاف إلى البناء على الإلهام الكبير في عالم السيارات الذي أورثته له عائلته.

وُلد Dario Domenico Orlando لأبويه Domenico وAlice Orlando في مستشفى Mount Carmel في ديترويت. ونشأ في ضاحية ألين بارك بولاية ميشيغان، حيث رسّخ جذوره في صناعة السيارات، وهو ما قاده في نهاية المطاف إلى تأسيس Steeda Autosports، أكبر منتج متخصص في العالم لمعدات الأداء لمركبات Ford Motor Company.
