This 1972 Ford Bronco is a full custom frame-off build by Legacy Speed & Body in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada. It is powered by a 5.0-liter Gen 2 Coyote V8 engine mated to a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The Bronco features an all-new steel body shell finished in Wimbledon White with a hand-painted red-outlined "FORD" script on the tailgate. Power is sent through a Dana 20 twin-stick transfer case to fully rebuilt differentials, including a Dana 44 front and Ford 9-inch rear with heavy-duty big-bearing 31-spline axles and heavy-duty knuckles.
Chassis and suspension components include a James Duff four-link suspension system, four-wheel power disc brakes with Wilwood master cylinder, power steering and heavy-duty aftermarket bumpers, with the rear bumper engineered to support the spare tire without stressing the body. The custom interior is inspired by King Ranch styling, featuring Italian leather upholstery throughout, including the headliner, along with custom carpet, console and power windows. A full family-style six-point roll cage with rollbar pads has been installed.
Comfort and technology highlights include air conditioning, a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, tilt steering column, RetroSound stereo system with six speakers, amplifier and subwoofer, and Amp Research power steps that deploy automatically with the doors. This Bronco also has a fully restored matching hardtop, and it rides on 17-inch KMC Rock Star wheels mounted with Yokohama Geolandar tires. Every component in this build is brand-new with no reused or reconditioned parts. This Bronco has been driven 2,200 miles since the build was completed in April 2024.
