Internally designated Type F164, the Ferrari Portofino was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and entered production for a 2019 launch as the successor to the California T. A svelte and sexy sports car, the Portofino is aptly named after the glamorous village on the Italian Riviera and features a retractable hardtop and 2+2 seating. Power is delivered by a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, and performance is awesome and Ferrari-worthy, including 0-60 MPH acceleration in just 3.5 seconds. The Portofino is an influential current Ferrari model, with the 2020 Ferrari Roma coupe based on the Portofino.
A convertible version of the Roma was unveiled in 2023 as the successor to the Portofino.
