The interior of the F8 also received updates from its predecessor, including a new dash layout with round HVAC vents as well as new climate controls. The balance of the interior has been carried over from the previous 488 model. In regard to the exterior, Ferrari made some striking changes to differ the F8 from the 488. With these mechanical and aerodynamic updates, the performance figures are quite impressive. The F8 achieves a 0-62mph time in 2.9 seconds while capable of reaching a top speed of 211mph. These impressive times are achieved with the help of the extremely quick shifting 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. Lightweight forged wheels along with large carbon ceramic brakes help this vehicle achieve a respectful 3,398 pound curb weight, This makes the car nimble enough to turn in some serious lap times at the race circuit thanks in part to the adjustable suspension, controllable E-diff and selectable driving modes via the steering wheel mounted 'manettino' switch. The result of all these technological advancements have helped Ferrari produce one of its most potent mid-engine cars to date.
