All are fabulous, though with the 812's discontinuation in 2022, it may very well be the final standard production, non-hybrid V12 Ferrari the world ever sees. Equipped with a 6.5 liter, 789 hp V12 tracing its roots to the Enzo and LaFerrari, the 812 Superfast and its folding hardtop GTS derivative are each capable of 211 mph and 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Like the 812's predecessors, the car's long hood and high tail are highly evocative of the Daytona, and with its unbeatable heritage, there's no doubt the driving experience will be just as special.
THE MOTORCAR OFFERED This beautiful 2021 812 is a GTS model, the folding hardtop variant of the Superfast Coupe first launched to the World in September of 2019. The car currently shows delivery mileage only–specifically, 227. Equipped with more than $140,000 in options, the car's price is shown as $543,476 on the included original window sticker. The car's striking slate gray with faint lavender undertones is a so-called 'extra campionario' or non-standard color, and per the included options breakdown, Ferrari invoiced the seller more than $12,000 for this special exterior paint alone.
A clear protective wrap covers the nose, doors, and rocker panels, and a custom, $6,600 radar detector and jammer using military grade technology has been hardwired. Wheels are factory 'forged diamond' items, a $8,100 option. Adaptive front lights, rear radar, yellow brake calipers, titanium exhaust pipes, electric suspension lift for curb clearance, and several carbon fiber trim pieces are other noteworthy options.
Inside, 'Cuoio' (literally, 'leather') color cow hides contrast beautifully with the exterior, and cabin options include Cavallino stitched headrests, a leather covered center tunnel, full electric seats, and a passenger display screen, with the latter two alone adding up to nearly $13,000. The car's folding top can be raised or lowered in just 14 seconds, and at up to 28 mph. It's an ingenious system that does not reduce luggage storage space, and despite a slightly heavier curb weight than 812 Superfast coupes, the 812 GTS offers identical straight-line performance. Even better, the design's inherently beautiful lines are not compromised by the addition of a convertible top.
Nearly 800 hp is delivered via the car's 6.5-liter V12, a quad-cam, 48-valve unit with a screaming 9,000 rpm redline. Power is routed rearwards via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and performance is thundering, including a sub three-second 0-60 mph, 211 mph top, and 10.2 seconds at 139 mph through the quarter mile. This GTS is essentially brand new and is offered for sale by its original owner. All original documentation, books, tools, and other accessories are included.
